When you first set up your rental payment details in the Sorted app, it can take up to three days to process with your bank. Until then, you will see the payment as pending in Sorted.
What if it's due within 3 days?
If your first rental payment is due right away please speak with your property manager to arrange a once-off payment or to delay the start date.
My rent hasn't come out
Once it's set up your rent should come out on the date agreed with your real estate agency but it can sometimes be delayed for a variety of reasons including:
The payment date falls on a weekend or public holiday. This means the payment will be processed the next business day.
There's an issue with your payment (we will notify you).
There has been a delay between Sorted requesting the payment and your bank.
