How do I setup my NBN™ modem? (FTTP, FTTC, FW & HFC)

Just received your modem in the mail? Great, let's get it sorted!

To get connected

  1. Plug one end of the ethernet cable (as shown above) into the WAN port on the modem and then plug the other end into the NBN box.

  2. Plug one end of the power cable into the modem and then plug the other end into the PowerPoint.

If there are multiple ports on the NBN box please plug the cable into the port labeled UNI-D  1


Check your connection

Once all the cables are plugged it's time to check the lights on the modem.

  1. Check the power light is green

  2. Check the WI-FI light is green

  3. Check the 'Online' light is green

  4. Check speed by heading to https://www.speedtest.net

If all lights are green then you're good to go!

Not working? Here are a few things to check

  • Check your connection is active (Sorted app status)

  • Ensure initial steps are followed.
