  1. Select renewal of the tenancy and select the renewal typeStandard Renewal - resigning of a new tenancy where the current tenancy is still active. The renewal occurs right after the end date of the current lease agreement.Continuation Renewal - resigning a tenancy for the purpose of an amendment such as a change of tenants on the lease agreement.

  2. Set the renewal information - users will be able to set the start and end date of the renewal tenancy by updating the date picker.

  3. Update the new tenancy - the new tenancy is created with the same information of the current tenancy.

  4. Rent Increase (optional) - If there has been an agreed rent increase the ‘Weekly Rent’ needs to be set accordingly

  5. Remove and add tenants - If there has been a change in tenants, remove and add the relevant tenants. After confirmation of the tenancy all the tenants on the agreement will receive the lease agreement for signing

  6. Bond amount - the bond amount will be copied over from the current tenancy

  7. Save & continue - by selecting save and continue the tenancy will be created and retained for later updates. You will receive a confirmation of the start date: this date refers to the current tenancy, by selecting yes the new tenancy will retain the renewal dates set.

  8. Changes to the tenancy after confirmation - As you can see on the below screen shot the tenancy has been created with the updated information

  9. Appointment and Sign - The appointment can be set once the property managers are happy with the tenancy. The appointment and signing process does not change.
